Theme Parks You’ll Want to Visit

It is common to hear people traveling around the world just to see and experience theme parks. Here in Singapore, there are theme parks that you can visit but there are so much more outside and it is time that you discover it. You will think of Disneyland but you have to brace yourself because there are many new theme parks set to open soon.

Way back 2014 the largest theme park in terms of attendance was Walt Disney World Resort’s Magic Kingdom. It catered to about 19 million visitors in that year. Bearing this in mind, it is not a surprise that companies are investing on theme park concepts. Here are some theme parks that you will want to visit:

• Shanghai Disneyland: This is the newest addition to the Disneyland Parks. It opened its doors last June 2016 and people from China and nearby countries are already excited to experience it. Shanghai Disneyland is actually the 6^th Disney theme park in the world and the 1^st in mainland. The theme park highlights Enchanted Storybook Castle, Roaring Rapids Water Ride, Pirates of the Caribbean attraction and TRON Lightcycle Power Run.

• IMG Worlds of Adventure: IMG Worlds of Adventure is in Dubai and it is set to open on August 2016. The theme park is nestled in a sprawling 1.5 million square feet. The good thing about this? It is enveloped in an air-conditioned entertainment complex. The theme park is divided into zones of adventure like Marvel, Cartoon Network and Dinosaurs. You will also be treated with different restaurants and film references.

• Motiongate Dubai: Another theme park in Dubai, Motiongate will open on October 2016. The theme park is movie-inspired. Here, you will experience at least 27 rides and attractions patterned from films like The Hunger Games, How to Train Your Dragon, Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, Zombieland and many more.

• 20^th Century Fox World: 20^th Century Fox is more than your studio. It evolved and now will give more entertainment to its fans. The theme park is set to open before the end of 2017 and it is nestled in Genting Highlands, Malaysia. The theme parks feature twenty five attractions and rides inspired from movies like Lice Age, Planet of Apes, Titanic, Night at the Museum and many more.

• Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi: If you want to visit Abu Dhabi, you will be happy to know that they will soon open Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi in 2018. This is actually Warner Bros. debut attraction. You will see Gotham City as well as characters like Bugs Bunny and Tom & Jerry.
